Illinois state law requires Clear and Present Danger events to be reported within 24 hours

Illinois state law requires the diagnosis of having a developmental disability with significant functional limitation in 3 or more areas of major life activity to be reported within 24 hours according to the Firearms Owners Identification Card Act and within 7 days according to the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code.


To Register     The advantage of registering with the DHS FOID Mental Health Reporting System is that returning users will not have to re-enter demographic information.
